History of Bike-sharing

Welcome to Bike Share Info. For people unaware of the resurgence of bicycles as a practical mode of transportation, this blog is to get you up to speed.

Until recently, only large advertising companies had been in the game of bicycle sharing. Now companies like The Collegiate Bicycle Company (CollegeBikes.com) and others have seen the benefits of bicycling and bike-sharing.

A good introduction into bike sharing is an article for CarBusters magazine (carbusters.org) written by Paul Demaio, founder MetroBike, LLC. The article comes via his blog at bike-sharing.blogspot.com.
